You must click on the map to add an item.

Instructions

  1. To positoin the map, click on the map and drag it by moving your mouse/pointer to the location of your choice before releasing your click. Show Me
  2. Provide a title for your map. This title will serve as an identifier but will not be displayed on the map. Show Me
  3. Enter the width and height in pixals of the map as you wish for it be be displayed on your site. Show Me
  4. Select the default zoom level for your map. The higher numbers show the most detail. Show Me
  5. If “Show Border” is checked a thin black line will surround the outline of your map. Show Me
  6. If “Show View Controls” is checked visitors to your site may alternate between map, satellite, and hybrid imagery. Show Me
  7. If “Show Navigation Controls” is checked visitors to your site may control the zoom-level and position of your map. Show Me
  8. Click on the map to add an item then scroll down to set the proporties for that item. Show Me
  9. Select a marker to be used for the item on the map. Show Me
  10. If you wish to a text overlay for an item check “Show Balloon” and provide the text. You may check “Display Title as Heading ” if you wish for the title to be displayed. Show Me
  11. To add an additional item repeat steps 8-10. Show Me
  12. Click on “Create Map” for the code and instructions needed to place the map on your site. Show Me
